Dato’ Wan Roshdi started his career at PNB in 1985 in the Corporate Finance and Corporate Services Department, consequently rising to the position of Head of Department. In 2003, he was transferred to the Investment Division of PNB before becoming the Head of Investment of PNB in 2004. He was responsible for the management and delivery of outcome of unit trusts funds managed by PNB, including its proprietary funds. His duties incorporated the formulation, recommendation and oversight of investment strategies, supervision and administration of equity assessment and evaluation, market operations for both equity and fixed income, as well as the management of portfolios. He moved to head the Risk Management and Performance & Portfolio Assessment Division of PNB in late 2014, prior to his retirement in mid-2016. During his time at PNB, he served on the Board of Directors for several companies.
Dato’ Wan Roshdi is currently a Board Member of Malaysian Industrial Development Finance Berhad (“MIDF”).
Dato’ Wan Roshdi holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Northern Illinois University, and a Diploma in Accountancy from MARA Institute of Technology. He was a holder of the Capital Markets Services Representative Licence and is also a qualified Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
