The Honourable Prime Minister of Malaysia had, on 28 May 2021, announced the Government’s decision to implement the ‘Nationwide Total Lockdown’ or Movement Control Order (MCO) under the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 and the Police Act 1967, in order to curb the spread of the COVID-19 infection. The lockdown will be from 1st to 14th June 2021.
In adherence to the Government’s decision, UiTM Holdings Group of Companies will temporarily close its offices and non-essential business premises during the above-mentioned period. Nonetheless, although our premises are closed, we will all be Working from Home (WFH). Businesses which fall under the essential services categories such as healthcare, energy and telecommunication will continue its operation, details of which are as follows:-
Energy Division
Both UiTM Solar Park I and UiTM Solar Park II will continue their operations as usual in order to maintain sustainable supply of renewable energy to the energy grid which in turns ensures undisrupted supply to households.

UiTM Private Specialist Centre will continue its operation in accordance with the Ministry of Health Malaysia’s (MOH) guidelines, in order to ensure minimal disruption to healthcare services.
