The Prime Minister of Malaysia had on 16 March 2020, announced the Government’s decision to implement the ‘Restriction of Movement Order’ under the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 and the Police Act 1967, in order to curb the spread of COVID-19 infection starting from 18th March to 31st March 2020.
In adherence to the Government’s decision, UiTM Holdings Group of Companies will temporarily close its offices and non-essential business premises during the above-mentioned period. Nonetheless, businesses which fall under the essential services categories such as healthcare, energy and telecommunication will continue its operation, details of which are as follows:-

UiTM Solar Park I will continue its operation as usual in order to the maintain sustainable supply of renewable energy to the energy grid which in turns ensuring undisrupted supply to households. However, the Research Centre and Discovery Centre located in the premise will be temporarily closed.

UiTM Private Specialist Centre Sdn Bhd
UiTM Private Specialist Centre will continue its operation in accordance with Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia’s (KKM) guideline in order to ensure minimal disruption to its healthcare services. Several measures and preventive actions will be in place at its premise whilst elective surgical cases will be rescheduled to a new date.
