In conjunction with this holy month of Ramadan, Segaris Art Center bringing an Islamic themed exhibition entitled “Faith”. 22 artists participating with total of 42 artworks being showcase at Segaris Art Center, Publika Shopping Gallery from 27th March 2023 until 17 April 2023. YBhg. Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul bin Tengku Abdul Aziz launched the exhibition on 14 April 2023.
Notable artists like Sulaiman Esa, Awang Damit, Husin Hourmain, Ramlan Abdullah, Jamil Mat Isa, and Rahman Amin joined this exhibition. Also joining are Fazrin Abd Rahman, Hisyamuddin Abdullah, Khairul Arshad, Najib Bamadhaj, Syed Fakaruddin,Fauzulyusri, Faez Fahmi, Burhanuddin Bakri, Khairudin Zainuddin, Syarul Jamili, Dr. Hassan, Haziq Syawal, Agus Baqul Purnomo, Fendi Zakri, Akif Azmi and Pip of Art.
This exhibition investigates not only the state of faith as a core identity usually conveyed by a Malay Muslim contemporary artist, but a direction that seems to respond through inner conversations, ruminating over relationships between culture and religion that transcend beyond our immediate comprehension.
