Rasulullah SAW had once said:
تَرَكْتُ فِيْكُمْ أَمْرَيْنِ لَنْ تَضِلُّوْا مَا تَمَسَّكْتُمْ بِهِمَا : كِتَابَ اللهِ وَ سُنَّةَ رَسُوْلِهِ
“I have left behind two things, you will never go astray as long as you hold fast onto them ie. the Quran and Sunnah”
