Universiti Teknologi MARA’s (UiTM) investment arm, UiTM Holdings Sdn Bhd (UHSB) has signed a Collaboration Agreement with Punggor Wibawa Berhad (PWB) at a brief ceremony held at UHSB office at Dataran PHB on Tuesday 8 November 2022.
PWB is a Sarawak-based Palm Oil investment holding company with main investment portfolio in Tabung Haji Plantation Berhad. With the agreement, UHSB will explore business opportunities which generates high return of investment in the State of Sarawak which includes dealing with the Sarawak Regional Corridor Development Authority (RECODA).
UHSB is also interested in securing government tenders to supply medical equipment to Hospitals, Government Clinics and Government Health Centres in Sarawak besides venturing into real estate development projects in Sarawak (“the Project”).
Following this establishment of a formal collaboration between both UHSB and PWB, the two parties will explore and focus on the Project, thus creating synergistic benefits for both organisations.
The agreement was signed by Encik Muhammad Mubarak Bin Ishak, Group Chief Executive Officer of UHSB and YBhg Dato’ Posa Hj Majais, Executive Chairman of PWB. The signing was witnessed by Encik Ajmain Abd. Rahim, Senior Manager, Group Legal and Secretarial, UHSB and Encik Mohd Hafizal Hamad of PWB.
