Prior entering to the second quarter of the year 2023, UiTM Holdings Sdn Bhd (UHSB) had organized an annual event that was held on 21st March 2023 namely the “UHSB Group Townhall 2023” with the aim of updating all staff on the current updates of the Group’s performance, both financially and non-financially. This creates an opportunity for employees to ask over any ambiguous matter directly to the Management. The Townhall session was being held physically in two (2) sessions located at Dataran PHB and UiTM Private Specialist Centre (UPSC), Sungai Buloh, and virtually via Microsoft Teams (MT) for staff who were not able to join us physically.
The first session of the Townhall at Dataran PHB was attended by UHSB’s Headquarters staff, Technology Division, Energy Division, and Creative Division. It started with Majlis Bacaan Yassin dedicated to Vice-Chancellor of UiTM, YBhg. Prof. Datuk Ts. Dr. Hajah Roziah Mohd Janor for her health conditions and to all UHSB’s staff and family members. The second session was specifically organized for the Healthcare Division’s employees at Sungai Buloh.
Acting Group Chief Executive Officer (AGECO) of UiTM Holdings, Encik Farisan Mokhtar started both sessions by reiterating the UHSB’s Group Financial Performance for year 2022. Then, he briefly explained the company’s challenges and mitigations, followed by the 10-Year Strategic Roadmap Transformation Plan for each division. Despite of all the provocations that the company faced in the first quarter of the year 2023, he reassured the employees to remain calm as the Management are giving full cooperation to all parties for the best result in the future. All employees actively took part in the Q&A session. All questions have been answered by Encik Farisan and the GMC members comprehensibly.
Before AGCEO summed-up his speech, he reminded all staff on UHSB’s Vision, Mission, Objectives and Core Values of the company to corroborate all employees to embrace it, so that every staff will be mindful in every tasks that they deal with.
