UiTM Energy welcomed 33 delegates from the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisation (AFEO) to represent ASEAN young engineers (YEAFEO) and ASEAN women engineers (WE-AFEO) for a Solar System Technical Visit to UiTM Solar Park II (USP II), Pasir Gudang, Johor on 26th August 2022 in conjunction with the 21st AFEO Mid-Term Meeting.
UEFSB CEO, Dr Heazar Ismail together with Senior Manager Asset Management, Ir. Mohd Rahimi Ab. Rahman gave a brief explanation regarding the operations of USP ll to the engineers before they were taken on a tour of the Solar Park.
The main objective of the visit is to witness, visualize, and understand the design and application of the large-scale solar park. It is also to promote knowledge sharing between UEFSB and AFEO for future events.
The visit provided good exposure for our foreign visitors from Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Singapore, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Brunei as well as engineers from Malaysia.
